New joint venture between VitalityHealth and Aviva Health

VitalityHealth and Aviva Health have formed a joint venture for the procurement of hospital treatment on behalf of their private medical insurance and trust members. By leveraging the combined membership of both VitalityHealth and Aviva Health, this initiative creates a new purchasing entity of considerable scale, and one that can create efficiencies in the healthcare procurement process.
The new company, Healthcare Purchasing Alliance (HPA), sole responsibility is to purchase health services from UK private and independent hospitals, and all other functions of VitalityHealth and Aviva Health will continue to operate separately.
